The subject is engulfed in a sea of charged, kinetic color. These colors collide and bleed into one another with instinctive magnetism, creating a chemically unstable background that risks detonating. It is this risk of impermanence and destruction that is so alluring and seductive.
The subject’s gaze is fixed on another, her accomplice and co-creator of that fiery background that presently consumes her. Their story is one of unexpected passion, isolated moments, and covert messages. What exists and remains between the two lilies is a paralyzing longing, for which the cure is only the source of the affliction.
