“The day
will be what
you make it,
so rise,
like the sun,
and burn.”
– William C. Hannan
This year has been full of rising and burning. And, I painted both. I am grateful for the experiences that elevated me, and those that challenged me. Without that emotional fuel, there would be no reason to paint. And so, it’s with gratitude that I reflect on my year in painting. It’s through this medium that I find clarity, and feel full and enlivened.
