Farewell 2015, Welcome 2016
will be what
you make it,
like the sun,
– William C. Hannan
This year has been full of rising and burning. And, I painted both. I am grateful for the experiences that elevated me, and those that challenged me. Without that emotional fuel, there would be no reason to paint. And so, it’s with gratitude that I reflect on my year in painting. It’s through this medium that I find clarity, and feel full and enlivened.

2016 Art Goals:
I aim to consistently devote more time to creative projects during the week.
I hope to begin new and varied art series, in order to add a level of experimentation and discovery to my work.
- [Collage] Saturday Morning Coffee & Collage Series
- [Art Journal] Illustrated Quote Series
- [Art Cycle] Continue my #ProjectArtCycle Series
- [Inspiration] Art Idol Blog Posts
Additionally, I’d like to go to figure drawing sessions, and ultimately introduce new body forms & positions to my work.
